If you're unsure what you need to enter onto the loan requirements page, you may find the below criteria will help.
What to do if you can't get past the loan requirements screen
Please check all required fields are completed, then go to the DIP section to complete 'Loan Requirements'. Once this is completed, go back to the illustration section and continue.
If this doesn’t work, please try to re-key the application or contact us for further support.
You're getting a maximum LTV message
Please check the following:
- Have you chosen the correct application type required?
- If you've amended the application type, the maximum LTV available won't change to the new type of application you've chosen. Please cancel and re-key the case.
- Does the loan amount you've entered exceed £1 million? Loans above £1 million are capped at 80% LTV.
- If you've previously reserved a product, this would've been based on the original LTV. Please choose another product to un-reserve this and pull through the correct LTV.
Getting a DIP decision when my client hasn’t found a property yet
You can get a DIP decision but this won't include a decision on the property or the outgoings associated with the property. You’ll need to enter the security details once received to proceed to FMA. This may then change the affordable amount due to the property outgoings.
How to go back and amend the client's name/address
If you’ve used an existing client's details, then you won't be able to amend these. Please cancel this case and create a new case, adding the client's details manually rather than searching for an existing client.
If you've created a new client, as long as the DIP decision hasn’t been obtained you can go back and edit the details entered into DIP. If you have received a DIP decision you will need to cancel this case and create a new application.
Finding out which region my client's property is in
If you know the postcode, you can use the 'What Region?' finder on our House Price Index calculator.
If you don't know the postcode, you can find it here.
I'm getting 0% LTV
Please only enter whole pounds into the loan amount.
